AMBITIOUS MARETERRA PROJECT IN THE NEW ANSE DU PORTIER DISTRICT IN MONACO

Since 2017, the impressive expansion project of the Anse du Portier district has been under construction. The project aims to add 6 additional hectares on the water with the Maretra ecoregion, while preserving the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean.

The Anse du Portier district will be an extension of 60,000m2 that will require a budget of 2 billion euros. At the end of 2024, Mareterra will provide very high-end and ecological housing. The district will also include public spaces, a new port, a large public car park, 600m cycle paths and commercial spaces.

With more than 800 workers at the end of 2021, some residences are well advanced, among others, work on the Renzo, one block of which already has 5 floors, and another 7. In 2022, the construction of several villas began. Each villa will be unique, with its own design, and views of the Mediterranean.

An essential step was completed at the end of October, all the concrete piles that will support the real estate constructions are installed.

By the end of 2024, the residential spaces will include 5 modern buildings, 110 apartments and 10 beachfront villas, designed by award-winning architects Valode & Pistre Architects and Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The smallest apartment will have an area of 400m2.

This place will be surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful open green spaces. The neighbourhood will be pedestrianised, contributing to Realm's goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
