Monaco has expanded its geographical area by extending across the ocean twice in the last century. The first development was the Fontvieille area, and the most recent is the MARETERRA eco-region, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. La Mareterra will give 6 hectares of land and preserve the surrounding marine ecosystems while extending the Monaco estate.
The extension of Anse du Portier and Mareterra to the sea is a 60,000 m2 project with a budget of 2 billion euros. The new area will include public spaces and apartments designed to meet Monaco's growing demand for top-notch real estate.
The elegant residential spaces will include 110 apartments and 10 beachfront villas, designed by award-winning architects Valode & Pistre Architects and Renzo Piano Building Workshop. This place will be surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful open green spaces.
The neighbourhood will be pedestrianised, contributing to Realm's goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
The project is expected in 2025.
Bay House - Testimonio II
Bay House is part of Testimonio II, a larger project whose modern wave-shaped shape reflects its position by the sea. With 56 apartments and five villas, Bay House offers locals a whole new standard of luxury living in Monaco. The structure will also include three basements and commercial space on the ground floor. With the exception of the private bathrooms, which will have stone floors, all three-bedroom apartments will have natural wood floors. Each of the five levels will contain only two units, and all will have elevator access.
