NEW FONTVIEILLE SHOPPING CENTER IN MONACO
Major works are planned for the Fontvieille district in Monaco. The complete reconstruction of the Fontvieille shopping center is expected in 2027.
This large-scale real estate project was entrusted to the Socri Reim group by the Principality of Monaco. A budget of approximately €300 million has been estimated for the completion of the reconstruction of the Fontvieille shopping center.
The future shopping center will have a definitely contemporary style and will offer more than 80 new stores with in addition, a large cinema of 4 screens. It will also have 40 luxury residential apartments. The existing car park managed by Monaco Parking will also be extended.
The stated objective is to make the Fontvieille district more ecological and dynamic. The famous architect Massimiliano Fuksas will focus on the environmental aspect in all stages of this real estate project. No less than 2,000 trees are planned on several levels of the shopping center.
Initially, the work will focus on the Carrefour shopping center. The supermarket will be bigger and renovated. It will always be surrounded by shops, as it is today.
This beautiful real estate project will bring new life to the Fontvieille district, with more shops, a cinema, green spaces, and the expansion of the existing port.
